Print in the library

 

Two Printing Options: Send a Job to the Printer...

from a LSC Computer:

  1. Login to an LSCS computer with a myLoneStar username/password or an HCPL barcode/PIN.
  2. Select the "Print" option.
  3. Verify printer selection
  4. Click "Print."
  5. Type a name for your print job into the blue and white popup-box.
  6. Click "OK."

online:

  1. Login to MyPrintCenter with an:
    • LSC MyLoneStar username and password or
    • HCPL14-digit library card number and 4-digit PIN
  2. Upload documents to print. 
  3. Set print options for each document (checkmark the document, set options at bottom-right of page.).
  4. Verify available funds to print (bottom-left corner of page). See Payment options to add funds.

Retrieve a Job from the printer:

  1. Login to a print release station. NOTE: you must enter the same login used above.
  2. Click on your document(s). Press and hold CRTL to choose multiple jobs.
  3. Check the print job cost and available funds in your new print account at the bottom left corner of the screen.
  4. Click "Print."
  5. Check the BW or Color printer for your printed jobs.
    NOTE: BW print jobs may occasionally print on another printer in the Print Room.

 

Pay for LSC Printing

 

Pay with Cash using the AVS

  1. Visit the upstairs or downstairs Copy Room.
  2. Login to the Add Value Station (AVS) by either:
    NOTE: It must be the same account used to send your print jobs.
    • Scanning the barcode on an LSC Student ID or HCPL Library card.
    • Using the touch screen with your LSC 7-digit student ID number or HCPL14-digit library card number .
  3. Insert cash only (bills, not coins). The AVS does NOT give change.

 

Pay Online with LSC MyPrintCenter

  1. Login to MyPrintCenter with an:
    • LSC MyLoneStar username and password or
    • HCPL14-digit library card number and 4-digit PIN
  2. Verify available funds to print (bottom-left corner of page).
  3. Click the Add Funds link.
  4. Confirm $-amount and agreement — Click Continue to Payment.
  5. Sign in to your PayPal account or choose Pay with Debit or Credit Card.

Note: visit the Reference Desk to transfer funds from an old print card to your LSC print account.

The LSC catalog includes all LSC holding, all HCPL holdings (EXCLUDING eBooks), and all MCMLS holdings.

  • Lone Star College–CyFair Student ID/Library Card

It is not necessary to include prepositions in titles. Example:

Try using variations of a word. Example:
