Every year in the January issue, in print and online, Choice publishes a list of Outstanding Academic Titles that were reviewed during the previous calendar year. This prestigious list reflects the best in scholarly titles reviewed by Choice and brings with it the extraordinary recognition of the academic library community.

List of outstanding titles in business reference. The titles must be a source for frequently asked business reference questions, and must be suitable for mid-size to large academic and public libraries, compiled by the BRASS Business Reference Sources Committee working group. The winners are selected by the Outstanding Business Reference Sources committee under the auspices of the BRASS section of RUSA.

This list highlights must-have teen materials for libraries. The list includes 50 books, five magazines and five audio books. Librarians can use this collection to ensure they have quality materials to attract teens; parents and teens can use it to find interesting books and materials to keep reading skills sharp between school years.

An annual collection development tool published with the help and support of two divisions of the American Library Association (ALA): the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and the Collection Development and Evaluation Section of the Reference and User Services Association (CODES/RUSA). University presses represent an often-undiscovered gold mine of resources for school and public libraries.
